 Andy Weigel Strength and Conditioning Andy Weigel enters his second season as the men’s basketball strength and conditioning coach at Virginia Commonwealth University. Weigel also serves in the same capacity for the Rams’ nationally-ranked men’s and women’s tennis programs. Weigel makes his way to VCU via the University of Florida, where he spent the previous two seasons working with the two-time national champion men’s basketball team, along with the Gators’ golf and tennis squads. Weigel aided in the development of athletes on the Florida basketball, tennis and golf teams through a dynamic strength and conditioning program. Weigel obtained his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science from Florida in 2006. A native of Stratford, Wisc. Weigel was a three-sport athlete in at Stratford H.S., participating in basketball, football and track. He resides in Richmond. | |||||||
