REGULAR SEASON CROWN, SCORING TITLE ON THE LINE SATURDAY AT 4 P.M.
VCU closes out its regular season Saturday with Georgia State at the Siegel Center.
The Rams will be looking to clinch the CAA regular season title with a victory or a Northeastern loss.
In addition, today is Senior Day. Eric Maynor, as well as undergraduate manager Taku Ito, will be honored prior to tip-off.
TWO FOR HISTORY
Maynor needs just two points today to become VCU’s all-time leading scorer. Maynor, who has 1,857 career points, will pass Kendrick Warren, who scored 1,858 from 1990-94.

This will be the 19th meeting between these schools. VCU owns a 14-4 lead, including a 65-50 win in Atlanta Jan. 21. The Rams have won eight straight against the Panthers.
Anthony Grant is 72-24 in three seasons, all with VCU. He is 6-0 against Georgia State. Rod Barnes is 20-39 in two seasons with the Panters and 161-148 in 10 years, overall. He is 0-3 against VCU since joining GSU.
A sellout or near sellout is expected today. If VCU manages to pack the house, it would be the fourth sellout of the season, tying the Siegel Center record, set last year..
VCU will look to match its best Siegel Center home mark today. The Rams are 12-1 this year and will attempt to equal the 2001-02 Rams’ squad, which finished 13-1.
22 AND 6 CLUB
If he continues on his current pace, Eric Maynor will join an exclusive club. Since the 1999-2000 season, just four players have averaged 22 points and six assists for an entire season. Including Maynor, there are several players with an opportunity to do so this season.
