RAMS DROP NAILBITER AT OLD DOMINION

NORFOLK, Va. – Junior Thibaut Charron picked up his 10th victory of the season for Virginia Commonwealth University, but Old Dominion came away with a 4-3 win over the Rams Wednesday.

VCU slips to 8-4 with the loss. ODU improves to 8-5.

Charron, who moved to 10-4 in singles play this season, topped Yakov Diskin, 6-2, 6-4 on the No. 3 court.

Also picking up wins for the Rams were sophomore Bobo Delemark, at No. 4, and freshman Filip Svensson, on the No. 6 court.

VCU returns to the courts on Sunday, Feb. 22 when it meets Middle Tennessee State in Norfolk, Va. at 10 a.m.
