MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO DUKE, 6-1
1-24-09

DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomore Bobo Delemark picked up a singles victory, but the Virginia Commonwealth University men’s tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Duke Saturday at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.

Playing on the No. 6 singles court, Delemark edged Alain Michel, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0, (10-5). However, his win was one of few bright spots for the Rams (5-1).

The Rams did earn a victory on the No. 2 doubles court, when Benjamin Bouhana and Emil Lindgren defeated Reid Carleton and Dylan Arnould, 9-7. However, it was not enough to secure the doubles point.

VCU returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 27 when it hosts Princeton at the Thalhimer Tennis Center at 2 p.m.
