KVAPILOVA STEADY AS CZECH’S COMPETE AT WORLD JUNIORS

TIJUANA, Mexico – Incoming Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Michala Kvapilova (Liberec, Czech Republic) was a steady force for the Czech Republic this weekend in Pool 1 play at the FIVB Women’s Junior World Championship.

Kvapilova, a 6-0 outside hitter, totaled 21 kills, 32 digs, seven service aces and seven blocks for the Czech squad in three matches.

The Czech Republic moves on to Pool 2 play tonight, when it meets the United States at 7 p.m. EST.
