That’s the laundry list of accomplishments for Virginia Commonwealth University women’s soccer assistant coach Siri Mullinix who was among the first class inducted into the Washington Freedom’s “Hall of Freedom”.

“This honor shows just how extraordinary Siri’s contributions to soccer in this country have been,” Co-Head Coach Tim Sahaydak said. “We are extremely fortunate and proud to have one of the best to ever play the game at her position on our coaching staff. This recognition demonstrates once again just how special the VCU family is.”

The honor was bestowed upon her during a halftime ceremony of the Freedom’s contest against St. Louis Athletica on Sunday evening. Mullinix was joined by USA women’s soccer great Mia Hamm as the first two members.

Mullinix spend three seasons with the Freedom, a member of the WUSA, from 2001-2003. The goalkeeper led the squad to back-to-back Founders Cup game appearances in 2002 and 2003, capturing the championship in 2003.

She was one of the league’s best players during her three seasons, earning a place on the WUSA All-Star team during the 2003 campaign.
